So hi guys and gals. I thought I'd drop by and introduce myself. My name is Sam and I am currently a student at the University of north Carolina Charlotte in the Mechanical Engineering Program. I have been building jeeps for a few years now and the Jeep Cherokee was my first real vehicle I purchased with my own money. Ever since picking up my first Toyota pickup truck a little over a year ago, I fell in love with these amazing little trucks. I recently picked up a matching first gen 4runner to compliment the truck and am now selling my old Jeep. Just a little note, I do all my own work on my vehicles. The 4runner was prebuilt in a sense but the purchasing price was right and the interior was clean. Perfect for a nice daily driver and weekend warrior project. So heres a little bit of eye candy because we all know threads are useless without pictures!
Here is my Pickup I currently own and plan on keeping for awhile. I use it mostly as a summer camping rig, and wheeler. I also use it to haul stuff and up until 2 weeks ago it was my daily driver for the past year or so. I added the bumpers, soft top, wired up all the electronics, leveled it out, tires, etc. Its an 84 model with an OME suspension lift, 22R Carbed, and 5peed manual trans.

And here is my new baby 1 989 Toyota 4runner SR5 with 3.0. 5-Speed. The previous owner took really good care of it and had all the documenting paperwork to accompany the truck when I purchased it. Primary reason for me to buy this truck was to replace my Cherokee and have something that was nice inside to pick up my little sisters from school in.
