so as the title says....me and my wife are moving to Vegas around November 15th to help start up a new location for East Coast Aviation.
so basically why i started this thread to express my excitement(wooohoooo!) and see if anyone else is out near that area so i can start wheelin on some real trails!! ever since we went to GA a couple months back and got a little taste of trail riding i want more but theres nothing here in FL so im super excited to start in NV!
also we are in the process of looking for a house to rent for now so if anyone has an idea of the good areas to look that would be great. we just want a little house with a backyard for the pups so any info would be great since weve never been there and we are scheduled to leave around Nov. 15th.

...this has nothing to do with vegas but ive been thinking about little mods i can do to my baby for super cheap just to sprooce her up a little bit and i decided to take off the tow hook and the front skid plate. so i am in the process of grinding them down to bare metal and then cleaning, sanding and painting....more details and pictures will be on my build thread once im done i just thought i throw in a little teaser to my lamo of a build thread haha

thanks again for all the help guys!

i just passed 90,000 miles and it runs amazing...but its still kinda scary to think about that far of a drive

I live in Lake Havasu City, Az 2.5 hours south of Vegas. There is more off roading out here than anyone can imagine in many very scenic areas such as the Valley of fire. Do not worry about the high temps that were posted. That is only several months in the summer. While the east coast is freezing and shoveling snow in the winter you will be enjoying perfect weather. Your biggest problem is 2wd. I would recommend trading for a 4x4 with a small lift and all terrain tires. Other wise you will be limited to very mild trails. Low rtange comes in very handy and 4x4 is needed when the going gets rocky or sandy.

yea the temps didnt really bother me...i live in FL and we have hot summers but on top of that our summers are muggy and horrible. we are looking forward to a dry heat for sure. as far as the 4x4 goes....we are gonna drive this 4runner till the wheels fall off so the 2 wheel drive will have to do and i will sacrifice going on hard trails...plus my wife isnt interested in trail riding at all so im gonna have to start small anyways lol

thank you for the feedback guys! we wish we were makin the trip 2marow!

also...i would still really appreciate any advice about wat to do with the 4runner before we leave. we are def gonna get an oil change and tire rotation the week before so if theres anything else we should do please let us know!

Vegas wouldnt be bad, its starting to cold here in Denver, and Im already over the cold, lol
