Hey guys I finally have a "off-roading" experience under my belt! The wife, dog (Yazmin), and I went up the back way to Mt. Lemmon, there's a town up there called Summerhaven. It's a dirt road/trail that pack mules used for transporting goods to the top of the mountain. Took about 3 hrs, I was passed by a guy flying along in a Jeep. I'm sure I could of gone faster but it was fun! It was about 60*F down in town, but it got down to 35*F at the top. Brrrrr.....
Along the way the road was covered in small fist size rocks alot of them looked like they could do some damage to your tires, so I went slower over those rocks, which was almost half the way. I decided to drop the tire pressure from my normal street 35psi, down to 29psi. Made a difference in how rough it was.
Playing king of the hill, it was a pretty good incline, used 4LO to get up it.
Down that steep incline, looks worse in person.
The rocks that were on the side of the road here are a representation of the rocks that were on 1/2 this road.

Up the road. The road was at times 2 lanes wide then down to just a tad over 1 wide. Passing was interesting.
Ohhh... look a new 5G Runner, still had it's temp plates on. If I remember right it was a Limited.

Backseat passenger! She finally got used to the ride, she kept whining for a while. Then she finally realized just because we were going slow didn't mean we were about to stop.
