Multi - information display

Hi there,

Just bought my first 4Runner. 2007 V8. I just imported it to Canada. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can change the multi information display from imperial to metric? F - C or mpg - l/100km?

Can the odometer be changed at all as well?

I would guess it would be a change to the ECU. Should probably be a very straight forward setting. Being that the ECUs are all essentially the same, shouldn't be difficult. The hard part is finding someone with the computer interface to access the ECU and make the change.

It's been tried many times and sometimes it just does it by itself. Anyway no one has ever come up with a way to do this reliably so if you find one there are a lot of people who would love to know how you did it. On the odometer I don't know.

I don't know why they make it so difficult for the 4Runner's. My buddy has a Tundra and Sequoia and it is just an easy button push that switches them over.

Does anyone else have some insight? How do I find out how to program the ECU.
