I just popped that cover off. Once you put a charger adapter in there, no need for it.

Homebrew jack foot for sand and mud, it uses countersunk 3/8" bolts and is easily removeable. I made it to fit in my cargo box(in the background) but a smaller version would fit in the jack compartment behind the tools.

Got sick of having trash stuffed in my cup holders. Magazine dump pouch mounted to the back of the front pass headrest makes a great mini trashroo for the cabin.

Not a bad idea.


I use that to hold shopping bags n trash bags and attached in my cargo area

That’s the eco light, poster meant using Carista to turn of the eco bar that displays on the dashboard computer screen. I have Carista and love it too. I changed the way a bunch of things work in the car.

Love this thread. I am all about the little things in life and minding my budget. I will be taking some of your ideas and in return have a few that have not been posted yet:

At one point I was driving two hours a day and getting an ergonomic seat really helped my lower back. I spent the big bucks and got this one for $300 on sale: Premium Sacro Ease w/ Wedge Seat - Relax The Back, there are cheaper ones out there. Mine has made a world of difference and got me through a 8 day road trip with no back soreness.

I will likely get these for privacy (and maybe a little sleeping in!) when car camping, you can put black side out or reflective. I cut out my own ones from dollar store sun shades and put suctions on them a few years ago but it was not pretty when a suction would pop off. These fit in the small gap around the windows.

Speaking of car camping. I have not yet built a sleeping platform but I did buy a folding mattress which I cut out the wheel wells from to make an exact fit.
