Hah, not quite ready for an M5 yet. When the time comes, I'll be looking closely at the E46 or E39 generation. I drove an E39 M5 and fell in love, but logic won out and I ended up with a 540i 6 speed for a few years. Fantastic car.

The E24 is a high mileage (~350k) but rust free (Cali) car. It is tucked away safe in a garage awaiting the transmission swap. It was my original high school car and I will likely never let it go.

The E90 is my daily. It's not my favorite generation of BMW, but it's been decently reliable so far.
