Ok so i recently bought a 93 4 runner. i bought it knowing that the automatic tranny wouldnt go into reverse gear. I have another tranny+transfer case rdy to go on but I wanted to ask if there are going to be any tools that i require that i prob wont have.

I looked for guides on how to remove it aswell and didnt find any from LORD GOOGLE.

Can anyone help me?

There's no real specialized tools required. A 3' extension for your impact gun or ratchet will make getting the top bell housing bolts easier, and a transmission jack is definetly a handy thing to have. You have to take the trans/t-case out as one unit, they can't be separated like a manual trans/t-case can be. Make sure you drain them both first :)

Yeah, ill be doing in my driveway over the course of a weekend and some beers. Hopefully everything goes as smooth as i hope!!! :)
