My runner...87

I did a general intro, but wanted to stop lurking and come aboard...
This is my 87..had it for sale. I put it up on CL for 1500 bucks and had way to many calls...I decided to keep it. I do need to put a clutch in, but 292k cold AC, runs perfect.... Thought there was no rust. I pulled of the silly trim over the rear wheel wells a found a couple small holes, easy fix and no more...SOLID. Im gonna start this as a build thread....may be slow going, but I look forward to diving in!

Looks great! Solid body, runs and cold A/C? I'd buy it for $1,500.

It looks like your driver's side headrest is backwards. Is it stuck? I flipped one around on my friend's parents' new Honda Accord in High School and it got stuck. They had to pay the dealership to fix it. 25 years later and I think they're still mad at me.

What the others said - nice truck. You made the right decision on keeping it!

Looking forward to the build.

New parts

Here is a quick update on this slow moving build. I put on new tires, it desperately needed them. Santa Clause (mailman) delivered some good stuff yesterday. New clutch kit, flywheel, and Aisin Hydros for the clutch. I figured I should replace it all. Anyone know of a company that makes a quality replacement for the line between the clutch master cyl. and the Slave Cyl.

I would just go buy some line and a flaring tool to make your own. That way you can make your own brake and gas lines in the future.
