Went fishing with a few friends last weekend and also took the 4runner out for a little exploring. Here's a few photos

Great scenery there. Even the historic shots. It was a good weekend to do this as the weather was great for it.

I don't recognize the spot, where about where you?
Good looking brown you have there, especially with the fishing season coming to a close to this side of Cali.

Any body know what this stuff is?

I'm assuming the cylinder is a core sample, but the chunks of cast iron? There was also a bunch of old coax cable spread arond the area.

Rocks, pine needles, pine cones, tin cans, LOL.

Who know what the cast iron was, the cylinder is part of the coax cable parts.
Core samples would be rock, like a cylinder shape they drilled.
