Need Advice: 2006 4runner V8 sport

Guys,

I'm looking for a little advice. I recently just got rid of my 2010 4runner that I bought new, in order to save on the $600 a month car payment. I was looking for an older 4runner and came across this White, 2006 V8 Sport with 82,500 miles. I ran a carfax and it is clean, he is the second owner. The guy says he has all of his service records since he purchased it with 11k miles on it. My question is if the price of $15,300 is good for this truck? All of the pictures I have received show it is very clean, with a minor scratch on the front bumper.

keep in mind that the timing belt is technically due now(6 years or 90,000 miles).

thats a good price! check to see if it's had the timing belt replaced yet, if not it's due pretty soon 7 years or 100,000 miles. you can use that to get the price a little lower if he hasn't done that maintenance yet

Ask if he'll cover cost for timing belt, but even if not, jump on it.

15k? Holy crap that's a steal! '06 V8 4WD Sport, (even though its white, not a color I'd want) its a great deal! I spent more on my black '04 V8 4WD Sport than this guy is offering.

That's weak, I paid $11,800 before taxes and fees ($13,500 OTD) at a dealer for my '06 V8 SR5. LOL just kidding, still a good deal. Post more pics when you bring her home!

Very good deal.

Just make sure you absolutely love it. Lots of great deals starting to come online for 06-07's in last few months. Pays to be patient. Even the 08's are following in hot pursuit, but they sell quick so you have to be ready to move. I spent 30mins on Autotrader almost everyday from Nov 15-Dec 15 to find the ideal candidate.

I just flew to pick-up an early yr delivered 2008 Shadow Mica Sport V6 4WD 45k mi's, southern driven, for $19750 + tag/tax from reputable dealer. Car is excellent condition (interior/exterior like new), needs perhaps $300-400 in diy maintenance to get it in perfect working order.

Good time to be buying these trucks.

Best of luck...you'll love it. Had that V8 in my '01 LX470, solid.
