need help deciding a color scheme

Perhaps paint the end of the wiper arm and hitch.

I ran out of paint I figured I would do that the same time I did the rear shocks tomorrow.

Thanks though, I really hope after a good buffing it will come back. Ive planned to wetsand the clear off the roof and re-clear it which by then we should have a like new truck.

As for the wheels, your truck sold me. I wouldnt mind doing the centers in graphite also, maybe half steal your idea and touch up the yota symbols in anthricite or black. I guess color matching the whole wheel in anthricite would do just as good as black, the graphite is more the gunmetal look I was going for.

Hopefully my buddy at nissan will help me unmount the tires from the rim so I can do a really good job painting them.

Why the holes in the back bumper btw? Seems like it'd be asking for rust back there.

The holes in the rear bumper are actually "dimples". They are used in sheet metal to add structural rigidity. They're used a lot in off-road fabrication. Don't have to worry about rust in the high desert of southern California.

These are duplicolor Graphite wheel paint, with anthracite center caps. I also have a Black/Red TRD Sticker. If you don't want it to look empty behind the front wheel when the running boards are removed you can just cut the top of it off like I did.

Mine has 228K on the clock.............

hitch is painted, new center bumper is on. I need to take it off and pull out the mounting bracket a teeny bit. looks like the dent was enough to mis-shape things a bit. otherwise I am real happy with how this is turning out. tomorrow I will give it a power buff and try to remove the running boards.

Now that I have finished my timing belt and exhaust, I sent my flares and mud guards to be filled smooth and painted to match my body color.

I have a new front bumper on the way to finally be rid of rust.

Is there anyone out there selling oem or reproduction licence plate holders for the rear tailgate?

I would absolutely love to get a hold of a chrome surround that came on the later (01-02?) 4runners

I figured I'd post my update with my old thread instead of making a new one. I was worried after my brake upgrade about getting a flat because I never shaved the two rear wheels which would leave me stranded. I came across some tundrasequoiawhatever 17 inch wheels which I think look stunning on this color, bummer part is the factory toyota coating is peeling off (still not bad for $200 with tires)

Has anyone had luck with the hypersilver kit from duplicolor? I like the black chrome look since it helps blend with the chrome bumpers

This weekend its going to the frame resto shop to get the frame fixed, maybe next weekend I'll get a set of BFG 265 70 17 or something similar, havent decided. I dont like driving on craigslist tires
