Alright so today was a long day. Got a lot done but need some input on whether or not I should have someone redo my hard lines or should I install them. Right now I have the compression brass fitting on but pretty much have been told that it should be temporary and not a permanent fix. Also the major it of all my lines have are getting rusted out near the ends of them. And when I say rusted I mean its almost eaten through the entire line. So to sum it up. I feel confident on doing the fronts. The distribution block of some sort at the front is basically rusted to the frame. so getting that out is going to be a huge PIA. But other than that the rest should be relatively easy (for the front). Doing the rear is another story...Do I need to lower the gas tank to get the rear brake lines out/installed. I will most likely just buy all parts from toyota, as it will be pre bent and I really don't want more of a nightmare than what I am already going to have to get all this crap off. Rusty bucket! Only positive is, much easier to upgrade when the parts are falling off.
Got the Total Chaos UCA's on today, brake line fixed, brand new calipers and pads, body mount chopped, and full system bled. Big Day!
