Need help new to forums battery keeps draining

So I rebuilt tho truck From ground up car runs amazing only one problem is that keeps draining the battery I put 2 new battery's in it already its been almost 2 months And it starts to crank slowly any advice I know if it was the alternator it would show the light I've been threw 3 of these trucks love em strong trucks

You need to determine how much of a drain there is on the battery when the engine and everything else is Off.

Get an ammeter, disconnect the pos cable from the battery and connect the ammeter in series with the battery pos terminal and the cable. Connect the ammeter pos lead to the battery, and the ammeter neg lead to the pos battery cable. (Set the ammeter to the highest scale first).

Normal drain is maybe .050A (50 mA) more or less.
If it's high, start pulling fuses until the reading drops, then consult a wiring diagram to find what all is on that fuse circuit. Then check those things.

I had the same issue with my 2000 T4R 4WD LTD. I ran into two issues. First, the daytime running light (DRL) module (located to the right of the battery and in the fender cavity) seemed to malfunction and drain my battery. I disconnected it (Don't like the DRL feature anyways) and the problem was solved. The 2nd time it happened, I had installed some interior LED lights. One of the light panels I installed had loosened up and drained the battery. I adjusted it and solved the problem. Not sure if this helps but they did work for my rig. NICE LOOKING REBUILD MAN!!

This is great advice, but I would not blindly accept the absence of a trouble light as proof of a good charging system. With engine running, you should have 13.5 to 14.5 volts at the battery terminals. Less, and you want to check battery and alt. cables, grounds, etc. Good to check all this anyway. Bad cables are more common than parasitic drains.
