Hey guys. There is a possibility of buying this Sport Edition V6 for $9200.00. Its got 85k Miles, one owner, clean title. Do you think its a fair price?

The only red it could be for that year is Impulse Red Pearl and based on your pics that's not a pearl. You better check it over really well, there's a reason why it was repainted.

It's a little sketchy. The badges on the rear hatch are not in the right spot and like others have mentioned, it was repainted. A quality paint job on a truck like this can easily be over $5-7k if done right, so if you are interested in it make sure it was actually done right.

I looked over the Carfax. It was in two accidents. The first I believe was minor (car was drivable) after a right rear collision. The second reference to an accident was front end collision but no details. The car is noted as white throughout the entire carfax but maybe that's just DMV not caring if the car was painted or not.

Based on that, if it were me, I'd pass and find another 4Runner.

It looks like someone did a good job on the repairs and paint work, but that price is still really low for a straight truck. That same truck in my area (without the crashes) would pull nearly 20K on any lot during the winter.

Offer him $7500 and start a nice build with all the money you saved. And, yeah, that is a crazy color for a 4th generation. Not bad, though.

that color!....its off...whosoever did the paint job either didnt care to maintain the toyota color code for 4runners, and wasnt bothered about future buyers feelings or was just plain dumb...
either case...have an inspection done on the truck by a 3rd party...check the frames/rails...b4 u end up with a frame damaged truck

I'd say , just stay away and find another nice truck. A vehicle with past accidents history, and a shoddy repaint job will be very tough to sell, even with a clean title.
Also, is it 4WD?

I agree with Zak, that color belongs on a 98 Corvette, not a 4Runner. I am guessing it is only 2wd? It's not that great of a deal for a twice wrecked truck. Obviously the accident was bad enough to warrant repainting the entire thing... not a good sign.
