It rained here in Missouri pretty heavily over the weekend. When I got in my 2002 4Runner after I started it I heard a harsh sound coming from the water pump/fan bracket area. It only lasted a couple of seconds. The timing belt/water pump was done by the PO about 12K miles ago. I stopped and got gas and when I started it I got the same grinding sound. When I got home 10 miles later I started it and no more noise when starting. Today I decided to do a little checking. I sprayed water with a squirt bottle near the fan pulley but no noise when starting. Then I sprayed water near the crank pulley/harmonic balancer and this is when the noise happens. Here is a short video.

I hope I did this right. Don't pay any attention to the video, it's the noise you need to hear.
You can hear the grind at about the 4-6 second mark. What do you guys think about the noise? Should I tear it down to check the pulley and balancer ? Thanks for your help.
