Need info for 06+ limited

SO i am going to be ordering a grille from the dealer for an 06+ limited. I have an 05 and put in the newer style headlights, bumper fillers, and will be doing a demello 06+ bumper. I went to the dealer and told the parts guy I want the grill that is color matched like on the limited. He told me he couldn't figure out which one to order unless i had a vin #. So does anyone have a light grey 06+ limited v6 (so it wont have the V8 symbol) that i can borrow the vin to order my grille. I have no idea why they cant figure it out without it. I think it should be obvious in their listings which is the limited and needs a paint code for the color match.

Is this the light gray you're talking about?

Lots of ads, like this one, have VIN #s.

Yeah you can verify your color code by looking at the sticker in the driver door jamb and the look at this chart:

Toyota 4Runner Touchup Paint Codes, Image Galleries, Brochure and TV Commercial Archives

Then you can look at some ads online to get a VIN like boondonggle said.

But I think you'd be better off ordering from an online dealer like ryan said. Just choose 2006 limited V6 and you should be able to pick your color code from their list.
