Need new shocks...time for a lift?

So this week I noticed that I'm going to need to replace my shocks. I figure as long as it's all coming out, why not lift it right?!
Well this is coming from a guy who has only lowered vehicles. I know nothing about lifts! So I'm going to need some help. I have lots of questions!

I don't want to go any higher than a 2.5 inch suspension lift. I'm on a budget, so I'm looking into spacers. What shocks should I run? Will a I need a body lift for this as well or can I do without one? How will this affect the ride? <--not worried about that, just curious.

Any tips and/or advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!

The Performance Products 1" coil springs supposedly give around 1.75-2.0" of lift. Paired with the Bilstein HD shocks, they are suppose to be awesome on-road, and decent off-road. The Tundra coils up front with OME 890's in the rear give you 2-2.25 up front (depending on spacer) and 2.5 in the back. The Tundra/OME set-up is supposed to be class act for a good on-road ride, while good off-road articulation. I'm currently trying to decide between the two spring set-ups. The only thing is the tundra and ome spings have one designated for the driver side (its longer) to make up for the gas tank being on that side. The PP springs are the same height for both sides. Some say they got anywhere from 1/2" lean to 1/4" lean on the left with the PP's. Some say they got none. Personally, if you are going off-road more, go with the Tundra/OME's, if you would be on-road more with occasional off-road use, (easy to intermediate trails) and want a great road ride, go with the PP's. Im getting the Billlie HD's regardless of what coils I get. Im riding the fence right now. Each of those two set-ups has their advantages and disadvantages. www.shox.com has the PP/Billstein set-up for $590. www.trdparts4u.com is the best place for oem/ome stuff. Your ride WILL get firmed up. In a good way, better handling, less rebound from potholes and crap. Less body lean. Almost everyone on here prefers Bilstein HD's shocks. 330 at autozone, but check out www.shox.com

Ok, I'll pick up the HD shocks. That sounds good. The PP lift sounds good, but the OME lift sounds good too. I would like a little higher of a lift, so maybe the Tundra OME springs would be better for me. I don't do a lot of off roading, but the occasional trail is always fun.
Are there any pictures of our year runners with stock tires and both of these lifts just so I can see the difference?
People, post your lift pics up and tell me what you have!

Go to www.yotatech.com and search "gerdo". He has a 3rd gen (99 or 00 i think) with the Tundra/OME lift with stock tires. Click on any thread that he has posted on and in his profile it says "see my 4runner". His looks good. Search "performace products" on here and go to page 5. about 4/5 of the way down there is a thread called lifts/shocks/tires, by lee. Look there too =]. Its the PP lift.

What else needs to be done if I were to install in PP coils in my 2000 4Runner? Any other mods. I already have Bilsteins installed, is that a problem that I've bilsteins for some time then getting PP coils? Also where is the best place to order PP coils?

thanks?
