Need stiffer coil than OME 861

Does anything exist past 861 for carrying constant heavy load and offroading?

I've considered ordering a custom coil but I have no idea what to tell them to build. The last site I saw wants a % rating for how much more stiff to build the coils compared to stock. I don't really know what number is accurate...maybe 200% stiffer than stock??

I just need a little stiffer than 861 to support all the weight in my truck. As it is, it rides rough as hell. When the 861s were new it rode great, then after they broke in/settled it began riding rough again.

What do you have in your load? Would you consider removing something first? When I was in a similar situation dealing with putting a plow on a bronco I called Husky Spring and just told them I had stock height springs and was looking for stock height with a higher load rating to hold a plow and not have the truck sag so much in front. I think they had something off the shelf but I’m not 100% sure. Either way call a company explain your situation(lift with 861s but want a higher load rating) and I have about 400lbs(just guessing) of loaded gear in the back. The company should be able to figure something out. I think eibach makes springs so they are probably someone to call. Or just call toytec and ask for their spring manufacturers customer service line.

I thought I remember the 851’s having a higher spring rate. Might want to look into them.

Are you saying you want same height, but a lot stiffer? Someone had a lot of the spring rates documented on here. I have it saved, but it's on my other laptop. I don't think you're going to have much luck in that department if I remember right.

I went from the stock LC coils to the 861's not too long ago but also wish they were a bit stiffer.

Although at this point, it's important to start thinking about other factors such as if the frame and the rest of the vehicle is being over loaded past a safe point. A friend of mine with a very heavy rear bumper and OME861's had his entire coil/shock bucket separate from the frame rail. Remember that a stiffer spring means more force pushing back against the coil bucket as well!
