Nerf bars - post your pics

Been driving my new 5th Gen since July and this weekend both my kids (6 & 8) finally had enough. They have a hard time getting into the truck and asked me to put a step like I had in my FJ Cruiser.

I don't particularly like the OEM running board, plus they are very price. Would love to see what nerf bars have been installed. Please post picture and name/model of your side steps / nerf bars / running boards.

Since cost is a concern, what is your budget? It will severely narrow down the pictures you get. You also didn't mention sliders. Is there a reason for that? Cost?

I'd like to keep it under $300.

The sliders I've seen (only on FJ Cruisers), protect the side of the truck when 4-wheeling, but didn't stick out enough to be used as a step. Are the 4Runner sliders different? I'll have to look into those.

I wouldn't bother. I haven't come across any that are under $300. What trim 4R do you have? The rocker panel side skirt will change what a nerf bar will look like.

Personally, I think [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION]'s solution with the NFabs looks the best for about that cost. You'll have to do some trimming if you have the rocker skirt.

They look great but for my purposes they won't work. The 'step' is as high or a bit higher than the actual floor of car. My kids won't be able to get up there.
