I just got an '06 sport with V6 & factory "tow package". I think I know the answer but want to get any advice from the forum. I am going to tow a Jayco Baja 10Z offroad popup camper which the 4R should tow fine. I previously used a Tacoma Prerunner with 2.7 4Cyl that did the job but I added a tranny cooler. The GVWR for the trailer at 3000 lbs is way below the 4R but towards the top end for the Prerunner (even though I never really loaded more the say 2600 lbs).
Any things I should consider or be troubled about?
What about the break controller? I'm the 2nd owner and the sub harness cable was never given to the 1st by the dealer.
