Just thought I would introduce my self and show my truck. I had been looking for a 4runner for a while and finaly found this one in excelent shape.

Right now I am just looking for some new Springs to lift the rear end. I have read mixed reviews on the moog stock replacements. But most everything else seems like it would be to much lift. The Pro comp springs advertise 4" but hard to tell if that height would be the same without the whole lift kit.

Any other spring recomendations? Was hoping to find something cheaper than the OMEs but may have to just bite the bullet.

Keep in mind when you get lift springs you have to get longer shocks.
If you only want to lift the back. they have spring spacers that may level it out.

The guy that owned my truck before me. put in spring spacers. they are the little block kind that go in the middle of the coil. to add a little support. they work alright. but as soon as the cash comes in i'm going with ome 2" lift kit.
I seen a kit for around 600. Which i dont think is to bad.

Great looking truck! I think you will here nothing but good things about OME. They seem to be the way to go for what you are looking for.

Yeah, I knew new shocks would probably be in the picture if I went with springs that lifted the truck to much over stock. To be honest I was thinking if I went with the shorter OME springs only they wouldn't lift it enough to require new shocks. Would any OME spring require longer shocks. I'll have to check the budget and may have to settle on moog stock replacements or something.

If you want cheap to last you till you get more cash lust check your local parts dealer for spring supports. Not sure what the real name is. As i see it, why waste lots of money on stuff you might only use for a few months. deal with it and save up. You'd be happier in the end.
