I have been without a 4Runner for 3 years now. Took me 2 weeks to track down a 4Runner trail premium for the right price. Paid $38,600. Now time to mod. 1st up tires and sliders.

Need to look into sliders. Not sure who makes the best.

I want to get AT tires one size larger than stock. Stock tires look out of place. No lift at this time.

Just found out that you have to hold the key to start. My other Toyota truck you just turn one time and let go and it starts.

Nice! That's exactly what I'm looking for.

When I get mine I plan to start the upgrades by applying additional underbody coating (POR-15?) and heavy skid plate/armor.

Took it offroad last week with only 150 miles on her. I found out real fast how bad the stock tires suck. They really hold the 4runner back. My new TRD wheels and tires will be on next week.

That TE in that color looks lovely... I know you're changing the wheels out anyway, but I love the look of them.
