New 2024 4Runner TRD OR Premium (3rd 4Runner)

Hey everyone! Just picked up a new 2024 TRD Offroad Premium 4Runner. I've got in my garage waiting to be installed Fox shocks, Camburg UCA's, Toyo AT3 tires, SSW wheels, and Outgear solutions rock sliders.

This is my third 5th gen. I'm in SoCal if anyone wants to meet up to hang or go camp/trail, get at me on IG @1NV411D. I've been offroading, camping, and building 4Runners since 2016. After seeing the video, it pretty much shows me that a stock TRD Off Road will go just about anywhere without modifications. I just purchased a new 2024 TRD Off Road with the factory black wheels and the all-terrain tires, I think I will save my money on modifications and just use it in its stock confederation.

That’s the same thoughts I had. I know I’ll remove the “steps” and install sliders but aside from that and a few lights I’m not thinking there is much that needs to be done

As someone who spent a lot of money on modifications on plenty of 4runners, the one trick I learned was having driving skills off road was way more valuable than any lightbar or lift kit.

And to practice those offorading skills, I used RC crawlers... It was kinda funny when I had the "Ahhhh HA!" moment of realizing all the $$$ invested in looking cool, was wasted. But then the steel sliders and bumpers came in handy as I got more confident off roading. Skills are priceless, the rest is for stupid ass instagram posts.
