Ran across this site when looking for info on replacing the fuel filter and was instantly hooked. Lots of good info here, so just wanted to say hey and thanks.
I've got a 97 4Runner Limited that I got in an awesome deal back in the summer of 2000 (family member was going to trade it in, traded in my badly broken Jeep Wrangler instead and called it an even swap). Currently has about 160k miles and is painfully stock. The truck has spent years sitting off and on due to deployments so I'm just catching up on maintenance at the moment but if the wife will allow a new project I see a new suspension in our future.
Used to be a full size Jeep guy and after breaking several Wagoneers and fullsize Cherokees in my youth (and the aforementioned Wrangler) I had kept the 4Runner stock up 'till now, but that'll probably change.
Also have a modified Infiniti G35 coupe that is the primary project but I'm out ideas that I can afford there, so time to switch my attention to the worthy vehicle that has driven me, the wife, and the dog all over the country for the last decade.
Anyway, that's about it. No pics to post at the moment, we all know what a stock 4Runner looks like, but glad to have found this site, my thanks to you all.
