Hello all! I'm proud to say I'm the new owner of a 1996 4Runner Limited. I purchased this vehicle on 10/15/18 and have already done a plethora of work to it in a very short amount of time.

When I bought this 4runner i knew i was going to have to do some work when i purchased it but I'm willing to do it and have some great friends to help out.

Second day owning the truck I found a pair of Kings for sale at a reasonable price and decided to jump on the opportunity to get them and i got lucky!

Day Number 3, I learned about the Hitch flip and decided I wanted to try it out and see how it looked and i enjoy the look of it so far. I still want to add some rubber to the bumper to avoider tearing my hand up when I tow anything.

Day Number 4, Found some 5th gen 4runner wheels and tires for cheap and installed them and I've got to say these look amazing on these 3rd gens.

Now day number 5 is where is gets interesting. I bought this truck 169,000 miles on it and the previous owners have done very little in terms of maintenance, so i figured it would be the perfect time to do the water pump and timing belt. Well disassembly went great but my buddy decided to check the spark plugs while we were in there and he did not like what he saw.

Day Number 6, we tore the heads off and again didnt like what we saw. The previous owners or someone tried pouring a bunch of head gasket sealer in the coolant and the aftermath of that caused a lot of bad build up and making up question t
he bottom end of this engine.

This is quite the journey, hope my 2000 Limited (bought 2 days ago) doesn't need a swap - we'll have to wait and see.
