Hey all,
Im Erik from southern NJ. Ive been over on tacomaworld for the past few years with my 07 prerunner. I recently picked up an 06 4runner sport after realizing that my current lifestyle and career are better suited for an SUV rather than a pickup. Ive been here on T4R for a few months now and have a whole list of mods performed already. I will upload some to share once I have some free time and perhaps start a little build thread

I'm on tacomaworld also. Just got a 4runner, finally figuring out that an suv is better--being all one piece, won't get the dust, dirt & water in the back, like I do w/my tacoma camper shell. Looking forward to seeing what you've done w/your t4rs. =)

Welcome to T4R!

Welcome!!

Welcome to you!

exactly my reason for the swap!

greetings from SC, it's wet down here right now...

hope everything is ok down there. That water sure did some damage

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Photos/build thread coming soon!

Heres my 07 DC that I sold to fund the 4runner purchase. She only had 72k on her when I sold her

I took really great care of her and she was immaculate from the day I took ownership until she left my driveway for the last time.

Now on to the new girl... 06 4x4 Sport with 92k. Some may consider this a step back/downgrade due to being a year older and higher mileage but I gained 4wd, lockable cargo space, better fuel mileage, a better looking truck imo, a higher resale value, all while putting cash back in my pocket since I got such a great deal on her from a friend.

She was a little neglected but I had plans to get her cleaned up.

and here is how she sits currently....

I will get a build thread started shortly and post the link in this thread

Thanks Pine! I see youre in Levittown. Not too far from me. Any meets or trail rides coming up in the near future?

Welcome erklep

We should all do a meet or trail ride soon. Hopefully mine will be together within the next week. I'm over at the NJ Shore.

PS. your pics are not showing anymore?

Which shore points? I am not far from southern points(Atlantic city area)
Certainly! I was just out with some jeep buddies the other night and the runner proved herself plenty capable. There were even a few comments from my hard core Mopar friends that they may trade their jeeps in for a Toyota! One guy got himself nice and stuck down to the frame and also broke the 4x4 linkage cable on his 2014.

Pics are not working again??! Must be a bandwidth issue

EDIT: pics have been rehosted

Im not sure whats up in your area either. I would just take a look at a map and look for large green areas. More than likely you will find trailheads anywhere along the perimeter. Though you might want to check with local rangers to see what is legal to navigate.
Down here we have Batsto and Wharton State forrest which over miles upon miles of trails. Im hoping to find some trails that are a bit wider than the trails we were at the other night. The brush really did a number on my paint :-( Time for compound!!
