I went by Hefty Fabworks last week to get my new sliders. Then I saw a miracle bumper. First I saw the rear being built, then I saw the prototype front. I love the design, I love the weight (55lbs). If he gets enough interest at Summit he will put these into production. No price set in stone yet, but around $1800 is what he is talking. And he is working on one for the 10-13 models.

Exactly what I have been waiting for. Just need a 10-13 version... I thought DO would be the first with an aluminum bumper, but I would snatch one of these up if it was available.

55lbs is music to my ears.

I love how they made the ugly "Gills" actually seem pretty cool in the design. I would have maybe tried to incorporate a 4 LED light into the gill area vs. teh simple black out; but it looks amazingly well done none the less!

Wow! That's a sweet looking bumper. It's cool how he incorporated the original design of the "gills/mouth" into the lines of the new bumper.

I'm anxiously awaiting ExpeditionOne to finish their bumpers for the 14+ models, but imagine if only at 55lbs we could have a similar weight rear bumper too. Sheesh. TAKE MY MONEY.

I saw someone question the air flow with the front bumper, it doesn't look like there is much space to let air get to the radiator.

Trimming more of the plastic bumper could.
