What's the overall height from the roof line to the highest point of the rack? I want to make sure it clears my garage before pulling the trigger.

There is some adjustment in the mounting brackets but about 3.5" from the highest point of the roof to the highest point of the rack.

Looks like it should be, however, we have not tested with existing ladders. We may make a ladder in the future.

I really like the look of this rack. I would need it to be compatible with a rear ladder of another manufacturer, or one of your own design though. When might you release a compatible ladder?

Any better pictures of the accessory mounts on the rack, none of the pictures really show it.
Are these designed to where I can have 2 attached to the same rack to basically make a line of them going north/south on my rack?
If I go east/west across the rack how many will fit?
Are these strong enough to walk on?

Ordered my rack last week and I am wondering if I could slap a few of these on the rack and then use it to walk across the rack if I wanted to.

Question since I am waiting on my rack to come in, how far back does the foot on the front of the rack sit? I am working on getting a clear bra on my roof to protect it from the weather strip, I also want to go far enough back to cover the feet that sit on the roof.

Yes I think SSO includes a clear vinyl film to place on the roof below the weather strip to prevent issues.

This rack hits it out of the park for me and like someone said before it checks all the boxes and the lead times are amazing in comparison to most. This is also one of the first racks where I like the standard length also. Time to go beg the wife for an early christmas present

I have a rack full-size rack on order and just called to see about swapping out and getting a black bolt set with it and was told $45 more dollars. Is this correct? Don't want or need both sets just wanted black.

That's what they charged me for it when I requested it. On their site I believe it's $39.00 more for the black bolt set...I assume $45 is with shipping?

They said $39 for smaller rack $45 for full

$39 for the standard length rack black hardware set and $45 for the full length rack.

Can’t imagine anyone wanting the regular stainless hardware over the black on any of their bolt on black products. They should just make the black hardware standard. Increase the cost of the rack by the actual cost increase of going with black hardware and be done with it. After ordering the standard size rack with regular hardware then adding the black hardware set for $39 I’m feeling a bit “nickel and dimed.” Especially if I end up with a bag of silver colored hardware that I don’t want or need after I install the rack.

Really looking forward to receiving this rack!

Raw stainless hardware is used in more products than black oxide coated stainless hardware therefore it's more readily available at a cheaper cost. Offering our products with exclusively black hardware would increase the cost of the product. We offer the black hardware in a kit for those that prefer it. Of the three vehicles that are shop, only the 4Runner has black hardware because the other two like the contrast. Also the black hardware doesn't stay a deep black forever and the stainless typically always looks the same.
