The guide above helped me buy my first 4 runner. I joined so that I may be able to help someone else in the future.

I bought a 1998 white sr5 automatic with 244k miles. Its a bit loose in the front end, and the valve covers are weeping a bit. Its also going to need tires.

already installed an ultragauge, the radiator is sitting at home waiting to be put in. The lower ball joints and fuel filter should arrive today. Seafoamed yestereday. Plugs, oil, and oil filter waiting at home for the weekend. Still need to order the front O2 sensor.

The rear license plate screws were rusted in. What a pain in the rear. I drilled one and tried an easy out. That broke and just made it worse. The other side i just drilled out and it was much easier.

It doesn't have the power that I am used to, but I don't seem to be missing it.

I had the exact same issue with my lisence plate. One side snapped and the other i barely got out.
