Hello from AR! I just bought a '97 4Runner yesterday (see my profile pic).
Rundown:
White 4WD SR5, 3.4L and 5 speed
144k miles from original owner. Older guy who took great care of it, Toyota dealer did everything, have most all the service records. Pretty damn clean exterior, interiors not bad outside of driver's seat edge and the rest of the leather showing a little wear.
It probably won't be seeing many mods until I get it payed off, but we'll see if I can fight the urge.
Looks to be a wealth of knowledge here, thanks for having me. Oh, and major thanks to 4-Ripcord, the 3rd Gen Buyer's guide was my go-to while I was looking!
