I've got a new (to me) '96 4Runner limited.
The battery light was coming on intermittently.
It was only coming on when it was hot outside. The A/C is always on when the light comes on as well.
I got home, checked the voltage and it was 13.8. I thought if the battery was getting enough voltage, maybe the alternator had a voltage regulator going bad in it. I bought a brand new Mean Green brand alternator and hooked it up to a brand new Optima Deep Cycle battery. I assumed the problem was solved. Unfortunately the problem has come back. Any ideas why this stupid battery light keeps coming on?
