New Bilstein HDs saved my family!

If anyone has shocks that need to be replaced, do it soon. Yesterday I experienced first hand the importance of having a set of quality shocks on my Runner. Myself, my pregnant wife and my two kids were driving along the highway when we were cut-off suddenly by another driver. I had literally a split second to react and make an evasive maneuver to move my 4,000lb vehicle out of harms way. I felt the truck make the sudden swerve with a real scary dip but incredibly it held the pavement beautifully and corrected itself quickly as I steered out of the way of the idiot. We were shaken but safe and continued on our journey. I'm quite certain that with my old shocks things may not have ended so well - I feel that I could have easily rolled the vehicle at highway speed.

My new Bilstein HDs saved the day for sure. Having relatively new tires with pressure checked regularly didn't hurt either.
