They are LED flex lights by custom accessories. I got em for $20 at O'Reilly. There not hard to install. I just wired them to my running lights but you can wire them to your 12v or to a switch. You might wanna get some adhesive or super glue because the adhesive that comes on the back of them isn't very strong. But other than that they are working well so far.

I used to do this quite a long time ago and have grown out of it. My advice is to mount it up behind something and have it shining down so you cant see the bulbs at all. You can also get these led strips on ebay for about 5 bucks shipped.

Yea, I did this back in, what I call, "the day". Specifically on my '82 VW Scirroco. I thought it was cool then. I'm sure you're going to be annoyed by the light shining. Be careful it doesn't impair your vision at night.

im another one that used to do this lol. LONNG time ago, Kragen (now called O' Riley) was my toy store and i bought all the gadgets they had. spoliers for your wipers, colored wiper blades, pin-striping and of course the lights. I had these ones that shined right into my eyes, and i thought it was so cool.

but I agree, tuck those babies under your dash and have illuminate the floor. If a cop see's any blue lights coming up, you'll for sure get pulled over.

I had some true blue LED lights in my car for a while. Pissed me off cause I didn't have a map light so everything was blue and when we needed to read something you couldn't see anything. So I have recently upgraded to a warm white LED. MUCH better.

Luckily I never had this phase (yet) but I know a lot of kids at my school with this in there ricey rice cars. But everyone likes there own stuff. You should have put them under the door handle (quite a bit more modding) on the out side of the rig. It would light up the door handle at night and stuff, I'll be doing it soon.
