New Bumper Don't want to waste money

As you can see I have a small dent in my bumper and I want a new one!

Since this pic the lower valance was cut off after I slammed into and through a freeway barricade. This incident also put a huge dent in the chrome part. All that is left is the dented chrome bumper. Should I buy a new chrome one or can I just put an off road bar up there and take off the chrome bumper all together? Basically all that is left is the chrome bumper and the headlights No bezels no grill nothing. Any ideas? Go back to stock or DIY something?

bumpers.....well i just finished building one for my 4runner. i had all the materials so i figured it would be cheaper than replacing stock one. i made the mounts using 3in. square tubing. bolted the mounts to stock location and positioned every thing. then welded it in place. i too replacing my bumper because of a crash

Buy an ARB. They are easy to put on and come with pretty good instructions. You just need to decide between winch or no winch design.

Nice bumper Alabama Man! I was driving down Beach Blvd. this weekend and I saw a 1990 yota pickup with the pre runner off road bar. It looks good! No chrome bumper just the grill and aftermarket bar. I just purchased the front chrome grill and headlight covers for $75 shipped Thank You Ebay! Any idea where I can get the off road bar I think it's a pre-runner bar?

It's for climbing over rocks. The stinger lifts the front end.

Ohhh Sound like fun but a little bit too extreme for mine. I don't even have anything aftermarket on there Just a Cd Player and Harbor Frieght fishing boat lights. Just like off road lights but cheaper! 15 bucks a light!
