New Buy/Future Build

Finally talked wife into trading POS X5 in for a 15 or 16 4runner or GX460. This will likely end up being my overland build in a few years. Currently have a 2dr Wrangler for rocks and mud, and son has a lightly modified 07 GX470. Wife wants leather, sunroof, 3rd row and back up camera. I can talk her out of some things, but she'll demand leather. Any suggestions on direction? 4runner Limited is easiest buy, but do I need crawl control? Am I better off with Trail or TRD or will I likely redo whole suspension anyhow? Crawl control seems important. Should I even consider the Lexus? My son's GX is a beast of a vehicle and does not have KDSS.

My feet do a pretty awesome job at crawl control. I say a locker is more beneficial.

You can special order

what you want but it can take time. You might want to check out the many option packages..
