New carport

I had a new carport installed today to protect my Casita camper and my 4runners.

Thats a pretty serious car port. Lots of room for vehicle maintenance under there too.

Thanks. I got the strongest roof they make, the thicker gauge framing, extra bracing, front & rear gables, half sides and it's certified to 130mph winds. It's 18ft wide 41ft long and 9ft high, Total cost was $3700 installed.

Thanks. I have a cousin that's a electrician and he's gonna install sensor lights for me. Yea it would make a nice shaded picnic area.

Eagle carports. They are out of N. Carolina. They did a good job, was here on time, knocked it out in 7 hours and cleaned up the mess before they left.

Thanks. After the past 2 winters we've had it will be nice not to have to brush the snow off and scrape the ice off the windows. Just get in and go.

Did they also do the pad the carport sits on? I've been looking into something similar for a camper trailer I have inbound, but in the fenced in lot next to my house. I'll need to lay down gravel or something to give it a decent foundation and wasn't sure if pad prep was something the installers do, or I'd have to do myself.

Nice to see another Casita owner, and that’s using a Runner as the tow vehicle.
I love mine. Both the Runner and the Casita are 2003s Casitas last and particularly if you can keep them out of the sun and weather.
