I'm Daku from Indy and I just picked up an 02 4runner sr5 with 135k on it... I bought this truck to be my plaything, but right now its straight stock and as I've never had anything other than small coupes, I am unsure of exactly what to do first. I know I want a modest lift on it to start with at lease 36" tires, and I've looked at some lift kits, but still unsure... I was hoping maybe someone could give me ideas on what to do and where to start.. also I wanted to know if it would be wise to weld or install a plate to protect my undercarriage( if something like that exists.. Please chime in with what ever you might have.. Any Ideas.. I'm open to suggestions... Thanks.
