Just picked up my first 4runner, a 96 Limited with 135k miles.

I just joined myself (from the bay area). Your truck looks like a nice find! I was trolling craigslist for over 2 months before i found mine last weekend.

I'm in Modesto to be exact. It's about 1 hr south of Sacramento.

I was actually originally looking for an older jeep cherokee, but a friend suggested a 4runner. I looked around and found this one with decent mileage for $5500, so I went for it. Couldn't be happier.

I'm totally new to the 4x4 world, I can't wait to get out and get dirty.

Are there any meets around the norcal area? I'd love to go out with some experienced guys and learn the ropes.
