Hey everyone new here but not to forums. Looking to buy a 1st gen 4runner soon but wanted to know what is better. 4cyl or v6? Also automatic or stick?

Welcome to T4R.ORG! Get the 4cyl. The 22re is extremely reliable, whereas the 3.0 v6 is known for its head gasket issues. Also get the stick. The automatic is a dog.
