Hello everyone,
I am a long time admirer, first time owner of a 4runner. This is my third body on frame 4x4 and by far my favorite. Nefore I even joined this Forum I was able to find so much good info on it, more than anywhere else online.
I drove a Kia Mini Van for the last 6 years so when I bought the 4Runner at the dealership a blackhawk heli landed, men in black suits got out and approached me. They opened up a briefcase, pulled out my long lost man card and official gave it back to me. I was an emotional moment.
My 2015 SR5 is my daily driver. I will be using it a lot in the winter to head up to Tahoe for snowboarding and sledding with my wife and to girls. I drive a lot so I should have my first 100,000 on it within 6 years.
I am holding off on some mods because I don't want to screw up my warranty but I am really looking forward to doing that rear camera switch. For now I will do a Baja roof rack and probably the boss suspension set up. I already have some 285/70/r17s on it with a leveling kit.
I also replaced my stock running boards with n-fab nerf bars. My daughters hate them. They both missed the step and came crashing out of the back seat last week.
So that is about it for me. I thought my 4runner was just about the coolest rig around until I got on this site. There are some awesome toys here!
