New front wheel bearings for a great price

I have 223,000 miles and while ripping out the Xreas shocks, thought I might as well just replace the front bearings while its all apart. Surfing rockauto I zoomed in on the stampings of the bearings and found something interesting. Some brands are reselling other manufactures parts. Like FAG who has a great reputation, is reselling chinese bearing with CN designation. SKF sells an unbranded most likely chinese bearing And one Beck Arnley is chinese but one including 2 seals has Koyo, a Japanese bearing. All are priced at $$60+. But an American bearing maker BTN is reselling NSK bearings at a discount, $48 per. So I decided to roll the dice and ordered a set. Came today and sure enough, NSK Japanese bearings are what I received. Two for $100. Normally $79ea.
Great deal.

Got the same last week. Look good to me. Going to work on them tomorrow if nothing changes...

Pretty sure those are made in Shandong, China. They may not be counterfeits, but they might be a "value" line of NSK's.

BTN is a competitor of NSK, odd that they would even sell them.

Hard to believe when they are stamped Japan. The manufactures dont make every bearing they sell. They just rebox them. I highly doubt rockauto is going to sell counterfeit product. BTW it has the same part number as the NSK bearing also sold at rockauto for $79

Now amazon is a different story.

So how long do the Toyota 4runner rear bearings last mileage wise on 3-4th generation.. Might stock up. I think mine are original rear at 271k miles..
Is that fake NSK Japan wording on fake bearings from rock auto???
