Hi all! Always love joining a new forum with a new toy.
We (wife and I) are in the midst of going from an 07 FJ to a 2011 4runner (limited).
The deal is in the works, but not 100% complete yet, should be a done deal in the next week, UNLESS I pull the plug.
One thing I just found out is that the Limited is all time four wheel drive. Which Im ok with (I just didn't know) as I feel it is safer, and it barely affects mpg, but I can't seem to find exactly how it works as far as "4x4". Now I don't go off-roading and this won't be a "trail rig", but I do tow a 16ft boat, and some of the launches I use are ROUGH. Can someone please explain the 4 wheel drive system on this 4runner limited to me.
