so im trading in my 2013 gti on a 2007 4runner limited v8.

may sound odd to go from brand new to used, but at this point in my life a 2 door hatchback as a DD was a bad decision. im a tech at lexus and we got this in as a used car. brought it home tonight to show the wife and she likes it. also gonna sell my 01 cherokee as i wont be needing it anymore either. i have a corrado vr6 i put a turbo on as my fun car.

only pic i have right now. car is immaculate, interiors is showroom condition, and exterior is in very good shape. i did an oil change today and found sand in one of the lower engine covers, so im assuming its been on the beach a few times. its got 70k on it, which is really nothing for the v8

it doesnt have roof rack cross bars, i havent talked to my parts department to see if we can get them yet, and i found factory ones online for like $300, are there any cheaper ones that are good quality?

Before shelling out $300 for factory bars. consider this alternative for$650.

May not be your cup of tea, but worth considering if you camp at all.

That is a damn clean 4runner. Nice decision.

I went from pretty much brand new Chevy to an 05 4runner. Can't say I really miss the Chevy a whole lot.

I bet the original cross bars were removed because they do rattle a little at slow speed and bad road conditions. The only other things you need to be worried about is the RAS (rear air suspension) if you have it and XREAS suspension if equipped. Both systems are not worth fixing. Just convert back to coil springs in the rear and top shelf shocks when failures occur. The RAS system is bizarre and includes thousands of $$$ in parts that will fail, ask me how I know! Other than that, the 4Runner Limited is just unbeatable especially equipped with the V8.
