Just joined the forum. Not a 4R owner yet, but maybe soon? I currently drive an '08 Nissan Titan 4x4 lifted. Looking to sell because gas (9 mpg!) and I'm trying to save some cash for a post bac program I start in Aug. I was looking at a cheap, fuel efficient used car like a civic or something, but I can't deny my love for off roading. Took my Titan out off roading alot.
Looks like the 4Rs are pretty good at this too. I'm hoping to pay between $5k-$8k for a 3rd gen with 4x4 and rear locker. Looks like most in that range have well above 100k miles. Few questions:
-Will I get good use out one that has between 100k-120k miles?
-How is REAL WORLD mpg?
-Reliability, any major flags for a 3rd gen (recalls, common issues, etc.)?
I know a lot of variables factor into a used car. Just would like some general input. Thanks in advance!
