New guy question???? 89 4-runner

I am buying the 4-runner in the link below. What are some thing to look for as problems go. It runs good, looks like it does have some oil leaking around the valve covers and it is a little beat up but I am going to make a hunting truck out of it so not that worried about that.

Valve covers are a known leak spot. These motor have headgasket issues if you let them over heat. As long as you keep the cooling system in check youll be fine. Alot of people DO NOT LIKE the 3.0 with an auto, it robs alot of power. Most just deal with it, and the mileage is on the high side. Beside that. Looks good.

For $2500 it should run real good and be in decent shape, esp w/that many miles on it.
Since you're in the mid-Atlantic region check the frame very carefully for rust.

I can get the one in my post for much less than the listed price. Frame looks good the body does have some rust.
