The back story: One family since new. Dad gave to kid, kid overheated & blew the engine, which is the 3 liter V6, 5-spd, truck parked under an oak tree last couple of years. I put in a new battery, water, cranked engine, big 'ol water leak from under passenger side ex. manifold.
Does this indicate I should replace the head gasket, or replace the engine? I'm told that engine change in this thing is major PITA, but have not heard from anybody who's actually done it. Under hood, looks like the Nest of the The Hose King..
Is there an engine change thread I could study up on?
