New headlight assembly

Installed new headlight assemblies today in my 05. The old ones were pretty oxidized. Such a difference.

got them at a really great price too. took about 5 days for me to get them.

Wonder if you have any issues with condensation? I bought a set off eBay for my Tacoma and live in Oklahoma, Humid, and they weren't sealed properly and had bad condensation. let us know how these do! thanks

I'll give it a few days and then let you know. Weather temps are gonna be in the 70s this weekend and them back up into the 90s and humid so I'll get back to you.

fits in perfectly and looks straight off the showroom floor. couldn't be happier (unless they were Xenon).

Bring this back to see how they're holding up. Did some water crossings and my seals failed miserably.

That is always my concern with these cheaper lights. I live in FL now and the humidity and rain brings out the worst is cheap seals. I think I will just stick to polishing my headlights 2-3x a year (20 min) to keep them looking good.

Should have gotten the Projector from the newer models IMO.

That said, I did this a few months ago, and the ones I bought did not fit well and the plastic tabs are super thin..

I wouldn't even wait to do that, honestly, buying any new headlight assy., OEM or aftermarket, I'd just seal it myself with some silicone, as even the OEM have the problem with seals sometimes.

Edit: didn't see how old this was, but still some timeless advice.
