Hey guys been lurking a while .. finally bought a 2002 t4r. I noticed recently when I’m driving I feel a vibrating in floor. Doesn’t seem tire related more rpm related it’s worse going up hill. It’s not all the time It’s not noisy I can just feel it in my feet. No trans slipping trans fluid is good Any suggestions would be great. Sorry if this has been covered already.

In my Jeep that meant the front driveshaft needed repaired. Not sure on t4r.

I second the front driveshaft. Did PO mention doing any kind of maintenance where the driveshaft would have to be removed? They could of put it back wrong if you don't visibly see anything wrong with it. I'd lube the drive lines and either way since it's a new to you rig and see if that helps any.
Front driveshaft is actively turning when in 2wd. It will rotate some, but it isn't being driven by the transfer case so it isn't going to turn at the same speed as the rear driveshaft. I highly doubt that is your problem, but you can remove the front driveshaft and drive around with it out to eliminate that from your list.

Check your driveshaft, specifically your U-Joints.
Ironically, I'm trying to replace mine right now for the same reason. Do you also hear a squeaking, usually at slow speeds? Does it all quit out pretty soon after you let off the gas?
I'll give you a heads up, the U-Joints will be THOROUGHLY seized if they're OEM and put up quite a bit of a fight. Check to see if the yokes/ears holding them in are flush or partially recessed too; for some reason Toyota used two different styles and the recess makes it impossible to press out the joint unless you somehow shim the gap. Trust me, I tried for maybe 3 hours yesterday. If they're solid, it should be plenty easier.
You can also try re-greasing them for a band-aid fix.

Thanks.. I’m looking for a place in Maryland that experience with 3rd gen 4 runners ... it seems to shake in the steering wheel a little bit when I put it in neutral it smooth.
Sorry for the delayed reply.. I’m not sure I purchased it from a dealer. 1 owner 100k I’m going to have it gone through. Hoping to find a good shop in MD
