Hello everyone. I am debating trading in a couple of vehicles and purchasing a 2013 4Runner and would like to get some opinions on the deal. It is a 4x4 SR5 with just under 50,000 miles on it. The asking price is $25,900 and they do not seem to be very flexible on the price.

The carfax is clean however the transmission was replaced around 22,000 miles and it was used as a rental vehicle. Here is a link to the for sale page.

I had a buddy of mine go by and take a look at the 4Runner in Ohio for me. Come to find out it had a couple of dents and some scratches on the inside. My local dealership had one for a good bit more so I decided to go check it out. It is a 2012 with 58,000 miles. After a few hours of negotiating I ended up getting what I feel is a pretty good deal. I'll be picking it up tomorrow.
