I recently installed a K&N cai in my 2003 sr5. I followed all the instructions to the letter, but when I started my car up after the install i found that the radio is essentially on mute. I have a kenwood radio. The lights and everything comes on, but no sound comes from the speakers. I have tried pressing the reset button on the radio, and turning the key when the car is already on. Any ideas?

I don't see the corelation between the installation of your CAI and your stereo system...
What kind of Kenwood do you have? Does it have a Bluetooth feature? Was it wired properly?

Sounds like the radio started having problems but isn't related to the cai.

Did you remove the battery when you installed the intake?

I'd try disconnecting the battery for a minute then reconnect and start it up. Hopefully your radio will start working and if it doesn't, you'll have to A) check the settings on your kenwood B) start investigating all of your wiring behind the kenwood.
If you aren't proficient at this kind of work then just take it to a reputable stereo install shop and they will probably set it straight for you, or sell you a new stereo.

its easier to remove the radio fuuse in the engine compartment, 2 of them. i think they are 20 amp each.
